Job Summary
We are looking to hire an ALREADY LICENSED mosquito technician and will PAY A PREMIUM FOR EXPERIENCE!
Like any successful business, we focus on our customer’s experience with our brand, and expect our employees will do the same.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in mosquito and/or pest control and is a licensed applicator in the State of Texas.
We want a business-minded professional with an eye for opportunities to improve the customer experience and lead our field business.
What We Offer
Competitive Salaries & Incentives – $25/hour for a licensed, experienced technician, with an opportunity to earn up to $500/month bonus.

Job Training - We will pay your ongoing certification costs and training time for your Pesticide Applicator License.
Tools for the Job – Brand new company van, sharp looking work outfits, and other necessities provided. (Must have a cell phone with text capability).
Flexibility – You will manage your own routes Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications
Prior Mosquito Technician and/or Pest Control experience is required
Must reside in Texas and be within driving distance of customers located in Austin, Round Rock & Pflugerville
Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, or local regulations
Valid Texas Driver’s License, clean driving record and proof of insurance
Ability to pass a drug and background screening
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to read instructions, write short correspondence, and send memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities
Represent the company by maintaining a high level of customer service with a positive and fun attitude.
Drive to each clients’ home or business following pre-determined routes.
Survey the customer’s yard for mosquito habitats and breeding grounds
Eliminate or reduce standing water on property, and apply larvicide if necessary
Apply control products to the surrounding foliage using a 60 lb backpack sprayer
Make recommendations to each client, and record brief notes for each visit
Participate in marketing initiatives and provide a remarkable customer experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Move up to 10 pounds regularly, and 11-20 lbs frequently, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Exerting up to 50 lbs of force to move objects is required occasionally.
Use legs and/or hands and arms to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc., in a manner that exceeds what is required for ordinary motion.
Maintain balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surface; balance exceeds that needed for ordinary locomotion.
Bend legs and spine downward and forward to crouch or squat, and bend legs at the knee to come to rest on a surface with one or both knees, including crawling on hands and knees or hands and feet.
