Sales & Customer Service Intern (Part-Time or Full Time) (Now - September 3rd)

Join us and gain experience being a paid summer intern with Mosquito Joe! This is a valuable experience for any student majoring in business, hospitality, or communications. The intern will assist with handling customer requests, selling services, and entering customer data.

The candidate should be outgoing, friendly, upbeat, positive, and speak English well. In addition, the intern must be proficient with computers and be able to learn software systems quickly. The position is available immediately and runs through mid-August. We have a fun office that is professional but a relaxed atmosphere with incentives for good work.

Job Description

Interns will assist Customer Service Representatives, the Office Manager, and/or the owner. Interns should be friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to promote the company’s services.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Understand customers’ needs and research clients’ properties to offer customized service and pricing.

Respond to customers’ requests for services and resolve concerns via phone and email.

Enter leads and client information into Mosquito Joe’s CRM & ServSuite systems.

When required, make outbound calls to leads and customers to provide service information.

When required, route appointments for technicians efficiently and stay in communication throughout the day.

Provide input on how to improve company operations.

Maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to track data.

Assist with the collection of outstanding receivables.

Help promote Mosquito Joe at community events.

Keep the office and work area clean and orderly.

Education and Experience

Currently enrolled in a college or university.

A clean criminal background.

Understanding the life cycle of mosquitoes, ticks and fleas, and how our products and services work (training will be provided).

Ability to use a computer and be proficient at using Microsoft Office, as well as company-specific software.
