Pest Control Technician

Mosquito Joe of Rhode Island is a fast-growing, locally owned business and we’re looking for a Pesticide Applicator to join our team. The Pesticide Applicator will travel to customer homes to provide recurring outdoor pest control services. Job Description

The Mosquito Joe Pesticide Applicators provide outdoor pest control services to customer yards. Customer service is paramount. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests

Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures

Maintain good customer relationships

Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements

Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles

Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations

Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements

Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures

Comfortable driving to customer locations

Willingness and ability to work flexible hours

Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service

Maintain licensing requirements and proficiency to conduct Mosquito Joe services (We will complete the certification/licensing program during initial training for the right candidate)

Education and Experience

Valid driver’s license with safe driving record

Valid and current certification/license for the commercial application of pesticides (We will complete the certification/licensing program during initial training for the right candidate)
