    Job Description

    The Marketing Coordinator position supports the business owners and the office manager, and engages with customers to provide information in response to service inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. The marketing coordinator should have strong phone communication skills and will conduct presentations to potential customers. This is a great opportunity for a college student to hone marketing and public speaking skills.

    Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

    Communicate frequently and effectively with office manager and owners

    Conduct marketing analysis tasks as assigned by the Office Manager

    Develop and present marketing plan

    Identify and recommend outreach channels for promoting Mosquito Joe’s products and services

    Contact civic associations and other professional groups to present information

    Deal directly with potential customers by telephone or in person to increase brand awareness

    Utilize social media outlets for brand awareness and growth

    Keep detailed records of customer interactions

    Regularly attend community events, such as festivals, farmers markets, to gain name recognition, distribute materials.

    Education and Experience

    High school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED) or equivalent

    Completed college level marketing courses

    Competent computer skills including Google Mail and MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

    Proficient in digital social media

    Marketing experience

    Phone sales experience preferred, not required
