Mosquitoes suck, but your job doesn't have to! Mosquito Joe of Springfield is seeking a Pest Control Field Technician to join our team and help our customers make outside fun again. We provide top notch customer care while delivering mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers. Field Technicians are friendly, respectful, service-oriented, honest, and punctual. A technician must be an independent thinker, able to make decisions on the fly, but also an individual who can operate on a team and take instructions by management.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Valid Driver’s License (required)

High school diploma or equivalent

Pest Control License REQUIRED

Reliable

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

Technology savvy

Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols

Ability to read and comprehend safety sheets and regulatory protocol standards

Ability to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used

About The Job:

Technicians are the first person our customers meet. They treat customer properties and know all Mosquito Joe services and policies.

Technicians communicate to customers the expectations, procedures and tips applicable to the service being provided. They're our "Joe's In The Know."

Technician hours are M-F, approx. 7am-4pm. Start and end times vary, depending on weather and customer needs.

The number of hours worked per week varies depending on technician availability and weather.

Technician Duties:

Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes at customer location

Maintain good customer relations

Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems

Maintain high customer service standards

Maintain chemical records according to State requirements

Complete licensing requirements and continuation education requirements

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours

Willingness to market business

Thoroughly explains to the customer the expectations for service and procedures

Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing 50+ lbs for long periods of time in warm temperatures
