A nonprofit biomedical research institution in Irvine is looking to hire their first data scientist. They provide data to healthcare providers on the human genome. It is all structured data but they need someone who can help with quality assurance of data, do data analysis and data management. They are using MATLAB, r and python, but open to someone coming in with ideas on best technologies and tools to implement. The ideal candidate will be an expert in statistics and be able to create hypothesis, communicate internally and create peer review articles.
