Phoenix Logistics is looking for a full-time BC/Ops Supervisor in NYC! Please read this carefully before applying. Finding the right fit for this role is critical as you will be managing this operation autonomously and reporting directly to the AO.

We have a short training window for this role, and we will only be considering applicants who have:

• Hands-on experience in parcel pick-up and delivery operations
• 6+ months of management experience in a team
• PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE ROLE OF BC WITH A FEDEX GROUND ISP AND/OR FEDEX GROUND MANAGER GROUND IS IDEAL.

JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (BC): REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS

Leadership and the ability to manage a team are critical to the success of this role. You will be responsible for DRO and Route planning, distributing daily route assignments, manage end of the day check-in process, communicating and practicing safety at each shift, troubleshooting fleet and equipment issues, addressing drivers who are not correctly coding packages, and exceeding service and safety targets for each route and driver. Other primary functions related to ensuring customer service standards are met as follows:

• Manage DRO and route planning. Schedule employees to maximize package count and ensure new Drivers get training routes. Make roster adjustments as needed.
• Facilitate ISP and Station communication during load out
• Track and report missing packages or delayed routes
• Communicating standard work and safety tips throughout the day
• Terminal troubleshooting
• On-road support and Lockout and towing coordination
• Rescue coordination & Track rescues
• Training new drivers and coordinating ride along
• DOT & safety compliance
• Staffing and employment screening
• Handle all Station paperwork
• Attend station meetings
• Driving required in emergencies
• On call seven days

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Experienced Fedex BC/ Manager is ideal
• Highly Reliable and Hard Working
• Experienced in Fedex DRO Application is ideal
• Able to Manage Morning Dispatch of Drivers/Fleet
• Manage Employee Work Schedules and Supervision
• Track Safety Key Indicators and Driver Coaching
• Experience Driving FedEx Ground Routes is preferred
• Support and development of company policies and procedures.
• Professional and courteous to FedEx Ground terminal management.

· Eligible to work in the US

· At least 21 years of age

· Clean Motor Vehicle Record

· Clean Criminal History/Background Check

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

· Have a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to pass a DOT physical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
