Job Description
We’re looking for a digital content coordinator to help develop and maintain the content portions of the SEO strategy for our on-going and planned marketing campaigns.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating our contract writers and creatives to make sure the appropriate content is being produced and placed based on our overall campaign strategies. The individual will be fully trained and supervised under the content & account managers. This individual is positioned to grow into a larger role in the company if successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Manage the content side of our several of our SEO/PPC campaigns.
- Establish metrics and goals to measure content engagement across all digital touchpoints.
- Partner with editorial and design teams to develop content, and potentially write digitally oriented content as needed - including but not limited to articles, website rewrites, ad copy, web graphics/mock-ups and banner ads.
- Partner with editorial and marketing teams to develop and maintain a publishing schedule and editorial calendar.
- Keep track and notes of all content and marketing activities for internal use
PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES DESIRED:
- Effective communication skills including interpersonal, verbal and written/editing skills and the ability to avoid jargon
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and manage projects with many moving parts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Literature or related field preferred, with 1-3 years working experience in content production (It is preferred to also have past experience working in SaaS/ B2B marketing)
- A creative person who can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
