    High Volume Loan Originator Coastal Delaware and Maryland Motto Mortgage Prosperity is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Loan Originator. As an MLO, you will evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of commercial/residential real estate loans. You will also advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payments. Motto Mortgage Prosperity enjoys a relationship with The Oldfather Group of Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the top real estate teams in the country. This relationship offers an excellent opportunity to capture additional business via a convenient, one-stop shopping experience for the consumer. Responsibilities: • Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits • Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans • Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information • Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions • Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services • Maintain and update account records • Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas Qualifications: • Origination experience in the mortgage industry. • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately. • Strong communication and decision making skills. Compensation: $75,000+ annually
