Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc., Big Stone Gap, has an immediate opening for a full-time CLINICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST within its children’s services department. This is a salaried position with excellent benefits. The selected candidate will provide supportive and treatment services to primary and secondary adult victims/survivors of child abuse. Must possess a master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field, be licensure eligible and have experience working with children and families. Requires the ability to professionally communicate with clients, parents, families and other agencies. Other requirements include experience working with families and community agencies, knowledge of basic crisis intervention and counseling, and knowledge of the dynamics of abuse.
