SUMMARY:

Responsible for a variety of clerical duties that support mortgage activities, the Branch, and it’s Loan Officer’s.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Satisfactorily completes all required compliance training and is responsible for compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Provide clerical support and customer service to Branch Loan Officers to help facilitate correct submission and closing of loan packages
• Maintain client relations, and help to achieve company production goals
• Answer general mortgage loan questions and inquiries
• May need to communicate with Corporate operations staff to order loan documents and facilitate the funding of loans.
• Must be in compliance with the SAFE Act

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

·         Basic knowledge of mortgage terminology

·         Strong customer service skills, to include phone and email etiquette

·         Sales background highly recommended

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         2+ years mortgage industry experience

·         Previous experience as a Loan Officer or Loan Processor a PLUS, but not required

COMPUTER SKILLS

·         Microsoft Office

·         LendingQB

·         Internet software
