    The primary purpose of the Employment Manager is responsibility for first-class strategic service, support and leadership on all recruitment needs. This role will develop and execute effectively new recruitment strategies designed to attract qualified candidates while providing sufficient applicant flow to the plant. The Manager will also need to develop and sustain a first-class business relationship with all the employment offices and recruiting sources, including nearby educational institutions (technical and community colleges), to ensure we are recognized as the area's employer of choice.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Develop, manage and implement an effective recruitment program for all the complex needs
    • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools and sources, including the internet (web-resume searching), community organizations, government agencies, job fairs, referrals, adult and/or vocational schools, direct mail, etc.
    • Position the company as the employer of choice in the area by creating a strategic results-oriented advertising campaign
    • Track and report weekly recruitment efforts and metrics.
    • Coordinate job fairs, screening interviews and check references as needed
    • Support new hire on-boarding program
    • Communicate effectively with leadership team regarding staffing strategies and goals
    • Must also be able to work in a diversified environment and keep positive working relationships with internal and external customers; vendors

    QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

    • Bachelors degree preferred, comparable experience will be considered in lieu of education preference
    • Five years of practical experience in recruitment or operational environment
    • Complete understanding of basic recruitment strategies
    • Complete understanding of Operational Excellence business model
    • Excellent interviewing and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated and self-disciplined with strong analytical skills
    • Adequate understanding of the processing environment
