Interns will be assigned a mentor and a project to be completed during their assignment. Interns will perform additional assignments; however, completion of the project will be the primary objective for the work experience. Job Requirements Primary Project: Develop comprehensive knowledge of the design and operation of the Dissolved Air Flotation Pretreatment System. Collect 4 water samples per hour, every hour, throughout the Dissolved Air Flotation System daily. Prepare and deliver water samples to the approved testing laboratory. Compile and evaluate test result data from laboratory; create working database of laboratory results for further analysis. Evaluate opportunities with emulsion presence produced from Peracetic Acid. Create and conduct different testing options to help decrease presence of emulsion, and in return increase fat yield production. Required Skills Ideal candidate will be pursuing an Environmental Science Degree Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Environmental and Chemistry background a plus Highly creative and detail oriented Great Organizational skills Excellent Communication skills Valid Drivers License
