    Job Description

     

    Mountz Inc. is seeking a self-motivated team player with a competitive spirit and an outgoing personality who is looking for long-term career growth with our sales organization. The successful candidate will work with a sense of urgency to provide excellent customer support and recognize opportunities to boost order profitability. This position requires a combination of enthusiasm and experience in sales, marketing, customer service, work ethic, and business acumen. Clear and professional communication is essential.

    They will have the ability to work both from our central office as well as from a virtual platform to qualify the needs of customers, promote Mountz products and services, and escalate qualified opportunities for further development and closure. They will be responsible for achieving an individual annual goal. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities by providing vital input based on his/her interactions with customers.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Manage a book of current customers

    • Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities.

    • Close sales and achieve sales targets.

    • Research and qualify new leads.

    • Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.

    • Communicate with customers via phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to answer any

      questions and provide necessary resources

    • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches

    • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members when applicable with

      calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.

    • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.

    • Identify opportunities to upsell products and services.

    • Organize and schedule sales presentations, product/service demonstrations and training required

      by customers

    • Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events when necessary

    • Attend all sales and product training events where applicable.

    • Manage business activities through the Mountz CRM.

    • Remain informed about Mountz product and service offerings as well as competing products and

      services.

    • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.

      REQUIREMENTS:

    • Preferred: University or college degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

    • Preferred: 1-2 years of work experience in a sales capacity.

    • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quotas.

    • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

    • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and

      time management.

    • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision-makers.

    • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

    • Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.

    • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent listening skills.

    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

    • Occasional travel to attend sales events or exhibits.

    • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

    • High level of integrity and work ethic.
