Job Description
AECOM is looking for a Movable Bridge Engineer (with Railway Bridge design expertise) to enhance the capabilities of AECOM's regional bridge team being based in AECOM's Chicago, Ill. office.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
Provide technical leadership and lead the movable bridge projects.
Serve as a technical resource to the project team and mentor young engineers.
Perform existing bridge inspection, and condition assessment, and develop rehabilitation strategies.
Ability to develop technical reports, documents, client communication and technical memoranda.
Prepare contract drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, technical reports, and construction cost estimates.
Need to be able to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
