    Move Indy is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the full-time role of Operations Manager. Candidates MUST have previous operations experience in the moving industry; ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of Operations Management experience or similar with a residential and/or commercial moving company. The Operations Manager will supervise the Assistant Operations Manager and crew (drivers & movers). The Operations Manager, with assistance from the AOM, will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, training, daily push-out & scheduling, damage claims resolution, as well as the daily tasks required to keep the facility running smoothly. This position requires strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and management. Move Indy will provide an onboarding and training plan to help familiarize the selected candidate with our policies, procedures and estimating techniques and software. Responsibilities: Manage the crew (this includes the AOM, drivers, and movers) • Create & Distribute Daily Schedules • Uniform Distribution & Compliance • Review Daily Truck Inspections • Disciplinary Actions/Write-ups (with assistance from AOM) Talent Acquisition • Onboarding & Training (with assistance from AOM) Lead Push Out a minimum of 5x per week • Ensure all other days are covered through comprehensive scheduling Lead Crew Meetings • Minimum 1x per month; more as needed • Work with Operations & Sales teams to create the agendas Spearhead the Damage Claim Process (with assistance from the CSR) • Open and manage all claims within our CRM • Discuss the claim with customers & crew • Guide the claim to a swift resolution • Create and distribute necessary paperwork Job Review & Close-Out Qualifications: • Ability to work onsite (+ travel to job sites, when necessary) • Must have reliable personal transportation (fuel card provided) • 2+ years experience in the moving industry (preferably Operations Management) • 2+ years experience in a management position (preferably managing a team) • Proven leadership abilities (building and leading a strong team) • Proactive business acumen (identify & solve problems before they happen) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Highly organized; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Understand P&L (calculate hard costs and create budgets & quotes accordingly) • Must be able to drive a 26ft box truck • Pass drug test & background check Strong computer skills with proficiencies in the following systems: Previous experience using any CRM is highly preferred • Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) • RingCentral • PDF Creation Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 yearly
