    BACKGROUND

    Moving Analytics is looking for a QA Engineer III to join our team and mission to provide cardiac rehab to 1 million patients every year. As part of this role, you will be responsible for creating, designing and deploying software platforms to drive adoption of Moving Analytics' services and directly influencing how many patients get access to the life-saving benefits of cardiac rehab. This position ensures software quality through automated and manual testing and data analysis. This position is responsible for defining and executing test strategies and plans as well as finding, analyzing and reporting bugs and/or other software issues.     Moving Analytics provides Movn - a digital cardiac rehabilitation service to help patients recover after a heart attack or heart surgery. The goal of the program is to help patients reduce their risk of getting a future cardiac event by empowering them to manage their risk factors including exercise, nutrition, smoking, blood pressure, weight, medication and stress.

    • Standard Schedule: a minimum of 3 days on-site is required, with the option to remote 2 days each week

    SCOPE OF WORK

    • Design and execute software test plans, scenarios, and test cases for functional, regression and system level test activities for product firmware, software, and mobile apps
    • Participate in release planning to understand the requirements and ensure high quality user experience
    • Review requirements and specifications documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
    • Assist in bug life cycle management – defect tracking, defect reporting, defect analysis and defect verification
    • Design and write (entirely or collaboratively) test procedures for the production process
    • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
    • Assist in developing standards and procedures to ensure product quality, release readiness, and final release verification
    • Assess and improve existing test procedures to maintain quality and increase efficiency throughout the production process
    • Being the customer advocate and guide the team on features
    • Execute manual test cases to find issues
    • Create and maintain automated tests
    • Write detailed bug reports
    • Generate reports and analysis of testing cycles

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    • 3+ years of experience in QA for Web or Software Development
    • 2 years experience in manual and automated testing
    • Extensive knowledge of current testing methods
    • Solid understanding of web based front-end testing technologies and methodologies (Selenium, JSON, YAML, JavaScript, XML, REST API, etc)
    • Familiarity with writing descriptive issue tickets
    • Familiarity with capacity testing, automated testing, and accessibility testing
    • Deep understanding of UI and UX
    • Requires little direction
    • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
    • Strong desire to learn and willingness to take initiative
    • Must be US citizen or permanent resident green card holder for this role, will not sponsor
