    Job Description

    Moxie is looking for an Analyst, Data Visualization who has an eye for detail, is passionate about data and has in-depth knowledge of Tableau.  You will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities with special focus on Tableau as a reporting and visualization tool, as well as crafting and executing queries and reports upon request.  The Analyst will apply knowledge of marketing efforts to solve our clients’ business problems and work collaboratively across various internal disciplines to drive marketing excellence.  The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of analytical methods for measuring performance and evaluating trends using Tableau software.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Build and implement Tableau dashboards to analyze a breadth of customer data while providing insights and recommendations into the performance of our clients’ program initiatives
    • Maintain dashboards that are part of our clients’ operational reporting infrastructure and support a wide variety of reporting and visualization needs
    • Create reporting that provides insight for internal teams and external clients
    • Translate data through storytelling and data visualizations to communicate findings
    • Develop reporting of key business metrics and measurement strategies
    • Work closely with respective team members from various disciplines (media, creative, account management, strategy) within the agency and the client to optimize and coordinate campaigns

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Relevant work experience in analytics and/or reporting roles 
    • Proficiency in evaluating data with Tableau and spreadsheets 
    • Ability to present data though use of Tableau and other data visualization tools 
    • Adept at report writing and presenting findings in a visually compelling and articulate manner
    • Ability to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Detail oriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends, intellectually curious
    • Excellent management and time prioritization skills
    • Passion for Analytics, Measurement and Testing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • SQL proficiency; ability to create and execute custom SQL queries in relational database environments and Tableau 
    • Experience with at least one BI programming language (R, Python, etc.)
    • Proficiency with Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare
    • Experience with some or all the following: data mining, predictive modeling, statistics, segmentation techniques
    • Digital Marketing Analytics experience
