Bookkeeping

Needs to hire 2 Freelancers!

We’re a hard-working, Profit First bookkeeping service in NYC, seeking a full-charge bookkeeper to work 10-30 hours a week. Must be available during normal east coast business hours.

The ideal candidate has an independent, proactive streak, a strong work ethic, and the desire to do what it takes to make gorgeous financials for our clients. They must be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

Duties include:
Input bank and credit card transactions, including transfers and client/vendor payments
Reconcile multiple bank accounts, credit cards and merchant accounts
Produce financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, Open Invoices and Unpaid Bills) and review for accuracy
Payroll entry
Sales tax calculation and filing
Submit Checklists to head office

Requirements:
QB &/or Xero Proficiency
General Computer Literacy
Experience with google drive
Experience with shared Dropbox
3+ years full-charge experience in QB / Xero
Fluent English: well-spoken and strong written communication skills
Home computer with high-speed internet and printer

Preferred:
QBO and or Xero Certification
College degree or enrollment in college level accounting program
Experience and/or willingness to learn cloud application integration - Hubdoc, Receipt Bank, Bill.com, Shopify, Harvest, etc.

All candidates must pass a bookkeeping skills test before an offer is made.
