JOB TITLE – ECOMMERCE SALES COPYWRITER
Summary: We are looking for an outstanding Ecommerce Sales Copywriter. This position reports directly to the Head Copywriter.
Essential Functions
Write copy for landing pages, sales pages, collection pages and product pages.
Write sales copy for all direct response channels including email marketing and social media.
Write grammatically correct, clear and engaging copy for targeted channel audience.
Write SEO articles and ecommerce copy reflecting brand voice.
Write in appropriate style, tone and format optimized for the channel and audience targeted.
Write and assist in both long form ecommerce sales content as well as tags, headlines and CTA's.
Research, recommend and implement changes as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
3-5 years of sales copywriting experience with e-commerce companies or agencies.
2-3 years of creative writing experience.
Prior experience writing for beauty/cosmetics industry, preferably in the ecommerce space.
Proven expertise in sales page copy, ecommerce product page copy and product page descriptions. Ability to write punchy sales headlines.
Proven expertise in writing high converting ad copy.
Experience writing engaging social media content.
Proven expertise in direct response marketing and sales copywriting.
Proven expertise in writing high-converting emails.
Understanding of SEO best practices on copy, headlines, tags and keywords.
Outstanding written, oral and visual communication and interpersonal skills.
High motivation and ethical standards.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Literature or comparable field. May be offset by commensurate experience.
