Neuromonitoring is a career option involving the recording and interpreting of electrophysiological signals produced by the nervous system in patients during surgical operations, specifically orthopedic spine surgery and brain surgery. Signals can be used to determine and prevent any possible surgical action that may be detrimental to a patient’s nervous system function and overall health.

South Texas Neuromonitoring, a subsidiary of National Neuromonitoring Services, specializes in spine procedures, and we are currently searching for Seniors who may be interested in the opportunity to learn and become a part of this field and our company.

We are looking for graduating Senior students that must have completed their program and received their degree before entering our Fellowship program. The Fellowship would include a salary during an initial 3-month probationary period and would begin with shadowing a mentor neurophysiologist and transition into the actual role of technician and a full-time employee position on successful demonstration of learning potential, competency, work ethic, communication skills, and patient bedside manner, with South Texas Neuromonitoring or one of its affiliate companies.
