Now hiring Appliance Repair Professionals for a full time position servicing Loudoun, Jefferson, and Berkeley Counties.
Mr. Appliance of Leesburg and Martinsburg is a rapidly growing, independently operated, veteran owned franchise. This Mr. Appliance has received numerous awards including being selected as the Small Business of the Year by the people of the Loudoun County. The demand for our services continues to grow so we are now seeking new team members to help us handle the growing demand.
The technician is responsible for the repair of products in customer's homes and businesses. Products repaired include the following appliances: Cooktops, Stoves/Ovens, Dishwashers, Double Wall Ovens, Dryers & Washers, Freezers, Garbage Disposers, Ice Makers, Ice Machines, Range Hoods, Refrigerators, Water Filters, Wine & Beverage Coolers/Cabinets and possible other home appliances. The ability to repair light commercial appliances is desired but not necessary.
Makes repaired will include all makes and models depending on part availability and age of the appliance. Examples of makes are as follows: Admiral, Asko, Caloric, Dacor, Frigidaire, Haier, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, LG, Miele, Norge, Roper, Samsung, Sub-Zero, Viking, and Whirlpool. The technician provides timely, quality repair and installation of customers' products while maintaining top notch customer service. The company will provide a service van, gas card, specialized tools (such as the company wall oven dolly), uniforms, I-Pad, periodic training, 6 paid holidays, commensurate vacation, benefits, and a team/nurturing work environment.
We are willing to train the right person with the right "customer service orientated attitude". Military service is a plus. Mechanical skills are necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately diagnosing and repairing appliances/equipment in the customer’s home and business
The ability to select and use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various products
The ability to give the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair or installation
The ability to read, understand and navigate through information presented in schematics, diagrams, blueprints or other pictorial displays on an I-Pad
The ability to use an I-Pad for service call processes, routing functions and parts/inquiries/ordering
The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
The ability to provide knowledgeable, courteous and professional customer service
The knowledge of basic electrical principles
The ability to work Base customer service hours: M-F 9:00am to 6:00pm Variable and flexible hours. Saturday opportunities could be available if desired by the technician.
Education and Experience
Technical School Training preferred but not mandatory
High School Degree or GED required
Attributes
Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with co-workers as wells as customers
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a great “can do” attitude, be proactive, and be a consummate professional
Must be dependable, responsible, ambitious, flexible, positive, and a hard worker
Looking for a technician that will grow into a leadership position
Must be able to pass drug and background check
Clean driving record is a must
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Refrigeration License, Sealed System Certified preferred
Valid Driver’s License and insurable Motor Vehicle Record
Certified Appliance Professional (CAP) desired but not required
Major Appliance Technician Training and Certification desired
