    We at Mr. Appliance® of Rancho Cucamonga are looking for qualified professionals to join our team. As an international appliance repair franchise network with over 250 locations, we frequently have job openings for technicians, managers, and support personnel throughout North America.     As a Team Support Member, you are a key member of our locally owned, family run company. It is a fun and interesting job, not doing exactly the same thing every day. The schedule will be: 4 days a week, from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (there is some flexibility here, and understanding with notice when you have an important family event, school program, or doctor's appointment, etc) and the travel each day will be to Rancho Cucamonga (where our office is located) and/or to surrounding communities. Holidays off (3 are paid), 3 California sick days, and other time-off may be easily accommodated with notice.

    What the Job Entails:

    Monday-Thursday: providing reliable, smoke-free, COVID compliant, carpool service for one or two other company members on the way to and from work (from Yucaipa to Rancho Cucamonga and sometimes making stops to collect or deliver parts along the way). You will always be reimbursed for vehicle gas/wear & tear for the tasks that involve driving).

    Once at work, you would complete some of these various helpful tasks (tasks vary by day of the week, what’s on the calendar, or how often it needs to be done, so you would not be doing the same exact thing every day): running errands (to various stops for supplies, equipment, parts, food, post office), delivering gifts/promotional items to local appointed locations, delivering parts/other items to the techs in the field, helping set-up office or other locations for events (team meetings, home shows, company picnics, etc), writing thank you notes, assembling promotional item packets, taking photographs on job sites or at warehouse to use for training, washing vehicles, occasional painting/decorating, light cleaning in the office/shop, organizing shelves, inventory (a very small warehouse, placing promotional banners in strategic locations and picking up yard signs from customer homes, and other such various jobs that are needed to support our team of employees to make our business run smoothly.

    Skills needed:

    Friendly disposition that is appropriate for a professional setting, and one that enjoys driving around, meeting new people, helping out.

    Ability to follow directions (and willingness to help out & see "what's needed" without constant direction when it is not provided).

    Great driving record as well as clean drug screening/criminal background check,

    Your own dependable vehicle and responsible driving skills.

    Ability to clean and organize and keep track of information (such as inventory, what businesses were visited, vendors/associates responses to promo items, etc)

    Legible/neat handwriting and knowledge of how to speak and write the english language

    Ability to work a camera and electronically send photos (or the ability to learn :) and lots of energy that keeps you happily moving about!

    *Having a truck or a vehicle that can pull a small trailer is not a requirement, but would open up the possibility of adding other tasks that would be paid at a higher hourly rate.

    Compensation for this position: $14.50/hr

    Openings, promotions and education to full-time jobs within our company also available: (such as Customer Service Representative ($15.50-$18.50/hr), Office Manager ($18.50-$22.50/hr) and Professional Appliance Repair Technician ($18-$28/hr or Commission (you control what you make, no limit) (Note: Medical, Vision, Dental benefits offered for full-time positions.)
