We are adding an accounting assistant to our team, and if we have your attention, keep reading. Named the 2017 Mr. Electric Franchise of the Year, we are in rapid growth mode and are looking for an individual with the traits listed above and the skills described below to join us on our journey.

What You’ll Do

Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary, accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts.

Reconcile and balance accounts.

Process accounts payable.

Process employee payroll, including entering data for workers’ compensation, commissions, reimbursements, and payroll adjustments.

Prepare statements to customers, and accept payments. Call customers to inquire about delinquent accounts.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This may include duties outside the scope of normal job duties.

Be responsible for handling large cash deposits

Manage requests for paid time off

Work closely with Spectrum Accounting

Pay company bills

Prepare and present van and technician profitability

Maintain an organized system for all functions related to accounting

Skills/Education

Degree in accounting strongly preferred, but not required with at least two years accounting related experience.

Excellent MS Office product & QuickBooks skills.

Superb written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with scheduling and invoicing software preferred, but not required.

The ability to learn, create, and grow in a collaborative environment.
