As an Customer Service Representative, you are a key member of the team and represent Mr. Handyman on customer calls. You are responsible for handling service requests and customer complaints. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

You must be self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. You are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis in a fast paced office.

Specific Responsibilities:

Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous manner, answer questions and inquiries

Return customer calls, resolve customer complaints and problems, offer possible solutions

Create and maintain updated documents and spreadsheets

Prepare outgoing mail

Schedule services and dispatch technicians

Perform marketing functions to sell additional work and earn business

Perform administrative functions including data entry, payment processing, and comfortable with Microsoft office

Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Ability to manage a team as well as independently

Job Requirements:

Successful work experience in an office setting with sales experience

Good phone etiquette, capable of actively listen and take customer notes, remain cheerful in a fast paced office

Great organizational and multitasking abilities, set priorities and manage time effectively

Home improvement experience preferred but not required

Outstanding communication and written skills

Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principals

Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, Excel spreadsheets, power point and other applications

Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills

Team player who can work independently
