We are seeking an experienced handyman to join our team! Our customers are predominantly homeowners and businesses looking for reliable, quality repairs, remodeling, and home improvements. Depending on the size of the job you will service one or multiple clients a day in the Chicago and surrounding areas. We service a reduced area to avoid making you drive all day. This is a W2 position and income ranges from $35k-$65k (depending on experience, volume of jobs, plus bonus eligibility).

Our ideal candidate is an experienced tradesman who can complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects, communicate with customers about scope of the work and perform cost estimates. Additional responsibilities and skills and experience are listed below:

Responsibilities:

1. Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects

Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates

3. Must have own tools fit for many job types

Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed

Keep company vehicle and equipment serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

Complete invoices as required using iPad (provided)

Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Skills & Experience:

· Skilled tradesman with 10 years of experience in home maintenance/repair and remodeling

· Strong carpentry background

· Some experience with minor plumbing and electrical

· Good communication skills

· Team player who can work independently

· Can navigate tablet-based technology (iPad)

· If there is any doubt about a customer’s health, we ask that technicians call the office and we will reschedule the job.

· Each employee must be symptom free to report for work and we ask that our technicians inform the office and stay home if they, or a social group and/or family member that they have been in contact with exhibit COVID symptoms.
