Administrative Payroll
Mr. Rooter is looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill our Payroll / Accounting position in our Columbus office. Your primary duties would consist of providing top notch customer service in a team-based environment. Your duties will also include processing payroll using MS Excel, contacting insurance adjusters and customers to discuss invoices and collect balances due as well as general administrative duties.
Qualifications Desired:
Through training, understand and Process a Weekly Payroll using MS Excel
Extreme attention to accuracy and detail
Strong customer service skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or as a team member
Strong oral and written communication…Phone skills are a must
Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience preferred
Strong data entry skills
Ability to learn and work in Third Party Software (Service Titan) essential to the business
Audit credit card transactions, process payments
Complete required payroll reports in Excel
Contact AR Customers to collect payment
Process insurance claims and breakdowns for plumbing and electric services
Various other administrative duties as deemed necessary
