The Licensed Plumber / Service Technician is key member of our team who performs service work on plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments. Exemplifying our code of values, we show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess a valid Journeyman or Tradesman plumbing license in the state of Texas, have verifiable service experience in the plumbing industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. We are seeking self-motivated technicians that thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities:

Provide top-notch customer service

Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments

Perform drain cleaning on all types of plumbing systems

Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems

Utilize the Mr. Rooter Sales System on all service calls, to not only build value, but to represent the Mr. Rooter brand in the best light

Possess a working knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC)

Keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

Job Requirements:

Must possess a Valid Plumbing License with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners

Must possess a Valid Texas Driver's License

Must possess the ability to use technology such as smart phones and Ipads and computers

Must possess the ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft

Must possess your own hand tools (not company provided)

Must possess excellent communication skills

Must have a Professional appearance and personality

Must pay attention to detail, use common sense and put our customers first
