We live in N. Arlington near the Falls Church border, and need a babysitter/family assistant for a minimum of 10.5 hrs/week during the school year to around 20 hrs/week during the summer and school holidays if you need more hours. The main responsibility would be to be with our younger daughter, age 10. We have a daughter in high school as well. We are looking for someone to start ASAP! A college student would be ideal. You must have references, drive and have your own car with a clean driving record, and be willing to undergo a background check. If you like to cook that's ideal as you will be cooking dinners for the family using plated recipes. our daughter loves playing soccer and other sports, often with you! We are big baseball (Cubs!) fans. Responsibilities would include picking the kids up from school (near our house) helping with homework, making meals, and driving them to practices. Also would need help with washing dishes and assistance with family laundry. (Washing kids clothes/folding ours) The work hours are fixed and we need someone who can be available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 3:30 pm - 7 pm (more hours if you'd like during summer and occasional school holidays like teacher work days etc.) Hourly salary will be based upon experience. You will get Federal holidays as paid days off, and up to 12 paid vacation/sick days a year. We have had a few long term nannies over the years and have had close relationships with them all.
