  • Responsibilities

     

    • Analyze all aspects of operations to achieve production budget requirements. 
    • Manage financial aspects of position resolving disputes and verifying expenditures.
    • Verify safety, scheduling and production results to ensure commitments are met.
    • Ensure that operation remains in compliance with all applicable environmental standards. 
    • Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained, based on company policies and OSHA guidelines.
    • Promote and measure performance of all personnel towards established objectives.  Coach individuals to optimum performance building a strong candidate pool for future opportunities.
    • Consult daily with all departments to effectively optimize production to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Assure critical activities at location are reviewed and acted upon for desired results.
    • Accept responsibility for special projects from conception through implementation and verification of results.
    • Maintain and manage all HUB related activities between operations, plants and maintenance to ensure total compliance with all company initiatives, including all initiatives of the State Operations Manager.
    • Oversee inventory controls to ensure accurate record keeping and total compliance with month end duties for Plant Supervisors.

    Required Skills

     

    • Requires strong problem solving and decision-making ability.
    • Leadership skills and competencies
    • Ability to work at all hours, including night or early morning pours.
    • Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets and prepare reports.
    • Ability to understand financial reports and prepare budgets.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Entry level knowledge of sales, customer service, quality assurance and plant and truck maintenance.

     

    Required Experience

     

    • BS, AS Degree in business or 7-10 years management experience in production and delivery of ready-mix concrete.
