    We are currently searching for a Senior Manager, Facilities and Safety to support our global growth targets.  Accountable for directing, planning and managing the facilities, maintenance services, corporate safety and security policies and programs at all Greene, Tweed facilities worldwide.  #cb

     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Responsible for the planning and implementation of capital construction, deferred maintenance projects, and oversight of facility operations. This includes, but is not limited to, project management, cost estimating, scheduling and oversight of bidding and contract process
    • Provides leadership, guidance, and administrative oversight for the daily maintenance and consistency of operations standards of all GT facilities. This includes environmental services, grounds, utilities, and environmental health and safety.
    • Develops programs to maximize the use of building assets, including space, systems, furniture, fixtures and equipment; makes recommendations in planning, including estimating space requirements, equipment needs, requirements for buildings and grounds maintenance, renovations and contractual services.
    • Partners with Global Supply Chain regarding negotiations and acquisitions of goods and services required for international and domestic locations
    • Establish and maintains contingency/recovery plans for all Greene, Tweed locations, as applicable
    • Liaison to Corporate Real Estate, leading leasing negotiations associated with leasehold improvements, occupancy, and leasing allowances
    • Accountable for the annual facility budget; including rent, utilities, and office equipment
    • Responsible for day to day facility operations of Greene, Tweed office/manufacturing locations working in coordination with site Facilities Managers, Functional Managers, and Country Managers to include various administrative, transportation, purchasing and invoicing functions
    • Lead in the development, implementation and management of our global companywide security and safety programs, plan, organize, budget, and track completion and effectiveness of activities intended to achieve safety objectives.

     

    Required Skills

    • 12+ years of progressive, multi-site facilities management experience required; Preference given to candidates with global manufacturing experience.
    • Demonstrated success managing domestic/international infrastructure projects, logistics and field offices required; Ideal candidate will have experience establishing new facilities in support of business growth.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute (with 3rd party support) physical security plans required.
    • Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills required.
    • Ability to effectively manage projects, including effective budget and expense management experience necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • BS degree required
    • Preference given to candidates with PMP and Six Sigma certifications
