- Receiving materials for the company and keeping an accurate inventory;
- Supporting the production needs by retrieving and staging materials needed and proactively communicating procurement needs; and
- Ensuring that the Customer packing requirements are met in a consistent and timely manner.

Primary Duties:
Materials & Receiving :
- Receives, inventories and labels incoming materials; and Pressroom supplies, UPS and FedEx packages, returned product, and equipment
- Prepares and slits material to proper size as job order requires; correctly Puts bar codes on slit material
- Operates forklift
- Obtains material from stock and distributes received items to appropriate department
- Takes materials to presses as needed for job order and obtains unused material from presses;
- Puts bar codes on unused material and returns to stock
- Ensures materials are properly located and maintained following storage procedure
General duties:
- Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for following processes and procedures
- Responsible for cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace; light maintenance of machinery and troubleshooting problems may be required as applicable and safe to do so
- Performs manufacturing related housekeeping
- Performs inventory on a quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed)
- Maintains and organizes work area
- Assists in other areas as required
- Responsible for working overtime when needed
- Related duties as assigned
Experience/Skills Required:
- High school education or equivalent required
- 1 year Logistics experience (shipping, receiving, and/or materials required
- Printing industry experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs or greater safely and regularly; additional poundage may be needed with assistance
- Forklift experience and/or certification strongly preferred
- (Certification is required in order to do the position, but can be processed through training and certification process with MCC)
- Proven commitment to the business (must not be on discipline for attendance, performance, or attitude)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player with positive attitude
- Must be able to work with people at all levels of the organization
- Experience with and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to input data in the computer
- Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test)
- Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions with determination to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently with attention to detail
