RELATIONSHIP MANAGER / WEALTH STRATEGIST

This position is based in Tennessee .
THE POSITION
The Relationship Manager / Wealth Strategist is an experienced planning professional who works collaboratively with a team of client service professionals to deliver comprehensive financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, and trust services to clients. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong client relationship skills, and a commitment to long-term strategic thinking for high-net-worth clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide long-term strategic advice, identify client needs, and develop customized, solution-based
recommendations to help high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals
• Lead or actively participate in client and prospect meetings using a team-based approach in
partnership with multiple client service teams
• Apply advanced knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities and applicable laws, including trust and tax law, estate planning techniques, financial planning, asset management, and prudent investment principles
• Draft, review, and present detailed analyses of individual clients’ financial plans
• Assist with the preparation of customized reports and client presentations
• Engage in business development activities and contribute to a positive growth-oriented culture across the firm
• Manage business risk associated with new and existing client relationships
• Maintain and update planning tools and documentation for the client service team
• Contribute to the development and mentorship of junior wealth strategists and other team members
• Promote the firm’s services and reputation through participation in business, civic, and community functions with clients and centers of influence
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
• CFP®, CPWA®, JD, CPA, or other advanced designation preferred
• Seven or more years of experience in financial planning, estate planning, or tax planning
• Experience working closely with high-net-worth clients and centers of influence consistent with the firm’s target market
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Strong technical knowledge in financial planning, trust and estate planning, and investment advisory
services
• Demonstrated ability to lead client relationships and collaborate within a team-based environment
