    Seasonal, June - August Are you looking for a meaningful summer position where you can make a difference in the agricultural community? We are seeking a temporary Multi-Peril Crop Insurance Specialist Assistant to join our team for the summer season, with a role based in the east central part of Wisconsin. This is a hybrid position with approximately 30-35 hours/week, with the potential for limited hours in the fall. This is a great opportunity to work closely with farmers, support our agents, and gain hands-on experience in the crop insurance industry. Responsibilities: • Handle information requests and ensure accurate processing of acreage reports. • Conduct farm visits to collect and verify acreage data. • Assist with in-field hail claim training and related field days. • Communicate with customers to update policy information. • Assist the Crop Hail department by opening and assigning claims. • Submit claims on behalf of agents and ensure timely processing. • Design and compile newsletters, mailings, and marketing materials. • Scan and upload completed agent paperwork into internal systems. Qualifications: • Agricultural background or familiarity with farming operations preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to travel as needed and work in outdoor farm settings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry. • Previous experience in crop insurance is a plus, but not required. Compensation: $15 - $20 hourly - no benefits
