BlackHorse LLC is seeking a reliable and motivated Multi-Skill Construction Helper to support residential general construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn multiple trades and contribute to high-quality residential builds and renovations. The Construction Helper will work under the direction of skilled tradespeople and supervisors to assist with a wide range of construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Assist carpenters, framers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed
Perform general construction labor, including demolition, site prep, cleanup, and material handling
Support framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finish work
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Take direction well and work collaboratively with the construction team
Perform punch-list and detail work as assigned
Represent BlackHorse LLC professionally with homeowners and team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of residential construction or strong willingness to learn
Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, carrying, standing, bending)
Familiarity with common hand and power tools preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality of work
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Experience
1+ year of experience in residential construction or remodeling
Exposure to multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.)
OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
