We are growing and looking for a reliable, experienced, and versatile Multi‑Skilled Carpenter to join our home repair and remodeling team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys variety in their day, and brings a broad range of home improvement skills. You’ll work independently or with a teammate in the field, supported by a full office staff so you can focus on what you do best: delivering great work without the administrative burden.

Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling tasks, including:

Carpentry: doors, trim, cabinetry, framing, structural repairs, and finish carpentry

Plumbing: fixture replacements, leak repairs, minor installations, and remodel‑related plumbing adjustments

Electrical: outlet/switch replacements, light fixture installations, and basic electrical work within remodeling projects

Drywall & Paint: patching, hanging, finishing, texture matching, and interior painting

Tile & Flooring: installation, repairs, grouting, and small‑to‑mid‑size flooring projects

Assist with or lead remodeling projects such as bathroom refreshes, kitchen updates, basement improvements, and interior upgrades

General handyman and remodeling support across residential and light commercial settings

Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs with minimal supervision

Ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Accurately track time, materials used, and job progress

Communicate effectively with customers and office staff

Adherent to safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or general handyman services

Strong proficiency in a variety of trades

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred:

Vocational or technical training in construction or related fields

Certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC a plus

Previous experience in a customer-facing role
