Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Four Technical Trade Courses (Apprentice Program)
- Electrical Knowledge 480V MCC Buckets – Troubleshooting and Minor Repairs
- Welding Experience
Experience:
- Industrial Maintenance Experience 5+ Years Preferred
- Experience working on Industrial Conveying Systems; Screw, Trays, Rollers, Belt, Elevators, Screen-boxes, Etc.
- Experience working on Pumps; Centrifugal, Gear, Rotary, Submersible, Diaphragm, Etc.
- Experience working on Cartridge Seals, Air Seals, Packing, Etc.
- Experience in Pipe Fitting; Threaded, Welded, Compression, Etc.
- Experience working on Agitators, Airlocks, Bagger Unit, Etc.
- Experience working with Shop Tools; Drill Press, Hydraulic Press, Band Saw, Belt Sander, Weld Machine, Etc.
- Experience in Coupling/Shafts Alignments and their tools
Skills & Knowledge:
- Pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test (Written and Hands On)
- Able to follow Written and Verbal Instructions
- Able to Demonstrate Basic Computer Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills, Work Well within Team Environments
- Good Decision-making Skills (makes decisions, acts upon them, willing to defend decisions over peer pressure)
- Must Demonstrate a Strong Work Ethic (Attendance, Attitude, Etc.)
- Understanding of LOTO, Hot Work, Line Break, SOP, Etc.

- Participation in risk assessment audits as applicable
- Understand PQ Principles (PQP) and how they are implemented in the site organization, rules and procedures
