Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) 2022 Fellow
Job Description
The 4A’s Foundation’s MULTICULTURAL ADVERTISING INTERN PROGRAM (MAIP) is a highly intensive fellowship that provides students with the opportunity to work in the advertising, communications and marketing industries. MAIP fellows interact with industry professionals on a day-to-day basis, work across multiple brands, and gain valuable professional credentials to secure their first job in the industry.
Throughout the 22-week fellowship, MAIP fellows gain access to over 100 partner organizations and build a large network before kicking off their full-time career.

Throughout the MAIP experience, MAIP fellows:
Complete a series of virtual training designed to prepare fellows for the industry and their overall internship experience
Engage in a full-time internship with one of the 4A’s Foundation partner organizations
Attend evening professional development sessions entitled “MAIP Labs.” MAIP Labs are based in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
Participate in MAIP summer projects
Meet with a volunteer professional MAIP Coach for 1:1 professional and personal development conversations
ELIGIBILITY
Must identify as Asian/Asian American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Multiracial or Multiethnic (e.g. Hispanic and Black)
U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
Currently an undergraduate college junior*, senior, or graduate student at any accredited, degree-granting university or a student attending a participating 4A’s portfolio school**
Undergraduate college junior: graduating in Spring/Summer 2023
Undergraduate college senior: graduating Fall 2021, Spring 2022, or Summer 2022

The format of the 2022 fellowship will be confirmed closer to January 2022. Applicants must be available for either a virtual, in-person, or hybrid (partially virtual, partially in-person) fellowship program.
Company Description
MAIP fellows are hand-selected by industry professionals to begin their careers in advertising. Once selected, fellows engage in a 22-week, nationwide fellowship that is both virtual and in-agency. In addition to the fellowship, fellows receive professional development opportunities through virtual spring training, one-on-one coaching, MAIP labs, and various opportunities to network with MAIP alumni and industry leaders.
