Nonprofit Data Management is an “outsourced” accounting and financial consulting service providing support exclusively to nonprofit entities. Utilizing nonprofit software and years of financial experience and expertise, it provides the services and capabilities normally available only to very large corporations, whether it’s the “day to day” bookkeeping/reporting services or “one-time” specialized consulting services.

This role supports the client in the understanding of financial position, preparation of annual and program budget, and is one of the liaisons with auditing firms.  This role is responsible for the review and analysis of financial data and its presentation and interpretation for the client and the client’s stakeholders.

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE

• Monthly reviews client’s financial results, with attention to variances.
• Works closely with internal staff to assure proper recording of client data
• Reviews multiple financial statements and their back up for accuracy.
• Works closely with client to interpret financial data.
• Reviews audit packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Works with Local, State and Federal grant sources to ensure compliance with grant specifications
• Meets with client, clients finance committee and or board to review financial results
• UFR filing as well as Federal rate applications
• Assists clients with creation of operating budgets-Agency and Cost Center
• Creates special reports as requested
• Cash flow analysis reporting as needed
• Assists in Sales calls
• Other responsibilities as needed

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED A Bachelor’s degree- preferably with an accounting concentration, 5-10 years’ non-profit accounting experience, Works well with individuals from all backgrounds and skill levels, Patience and a sense of humor is critical, and a desire to make a difference for our clients.
