    About the Role

    We are seeking a Multimedia & AV Coordinator to support the organization’s audiovisual technology and multimedia production needs. This role combines hands-on AV support with video production, visual content creation, and creative storytelling to support internal communications, marketing initiatives, employee engagement, training programs, and company events.

    The Multimedia & AV Coordinator is responsible for supporting AV systems and technology, including setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support, while also planning, producing, editing, and delivering video and visual content. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to provide reliable technology solutions and engaging multimedia experiences that support business objectives.

    The ideal candidate is a creative and technically skilled professional who enjoys managing projects from concept through completion, solving technical challenges, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality multimedia solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Audiovisual (AV) Operations & Support

    • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions, executive communications, and company events.
    • Install, configure, and test displays, projectors, monitors, cameras, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and related AV equipment.
    • Support conference room technology, livestreams, webinars, town halls, and hybrid meetings to ensure reliable operation and a high-quality user experience.
    • Diagnose and resolve audio, video, display, connectivity, and equipment issues to minimize disruptions.
    • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment testing, firmware updates, and routine inspections to ensure reliable system performance.
    • Maintain AV equipment inventory, production equipment, cables, accessories, and related digital assets.
    • Coordinate AV support requests and ensure meeting spaces and event technology are fully operational.
    • Provide end-user support and basic training on audiovisual equipment and video conferencing technologies.

    Video Production & Multimedia

    • Plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit video content for internal communications, training, onboarding, recruiting, employee engagement, marketing initiatives, and company events.
    • Manage video projects from concept through final delivery, including planning, filming, editing, revisions, and distribution.
    • Support video productions through pre-production planning, scheduling, location coordination, equipment preparation, and production logistics.
    • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video productions and special events.
    • Perform video editing, including footage organization, transitions, basic color correction, audio enhancement, captioning, and final exports.
    • Create video content optimized for internal communications, websites, presentations, social media, and other digital platforms.
    • Develop and maintain organized libraries of video files, production assets, and digital media content.

    Graphic Design & Visual Content

    • Create visual assets that support video projects, including title cards, lower-thirds, thumbnails, graphics, captions, and end screens.
    • Develop basic motion graphics and animated elements to enhance multimedia content.
    • Develop supporting marketing and communication materials, including presentations, social graphics, flyers, signage, and internal communication assets.
    • Repurpose video content into short-form videos, still images, and other digital assets.
    • Ensure all creative materials align with established brand standards and visual guidelines.

    Video Production Coordination & Project Management

    • Support pre-production activities, including scheduling, project planning, location coordination, equipment preparation, and production logistics.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Manage project schedules and communicate progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
    • Maintain organized project files, production assets, and creative resources.
    • Ensure AV support and multimedia projects are completed on schedule and aligned with organizational priorities.

    Collaboration

    • Partner with Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Product, Facilities, and other departments to support organizational communications and business initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop creative solutions and technical approaches that meet business objectives.
    • Recommend improvements to audiovisual systems, production workflows, and visual communications.
    • Maintain positive working relationships with internal customers, vendors, and external partners.

    Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience supporting audiovisual (AV) systems, video production, multimedia production, corporate communications, marketing content creation, or a related field.
    • Experience supporting projects from planning through completion, including AV setup, content creation, production, editing, and final delivery.
    • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
    • Working knowledge of camera operation, lighting techniques, audio recording, and video production workflows.
    • Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment, including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
    • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar software.
    • Understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, composition, branding, and digital content standards.
    • Knowledge of AV signal flow, connectivity standards (HDMI, USB, DisplayPort, Ethernet), and basic troubleshooting practices.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
    • Ability to take direction, work independently, and manage projects with limited supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience creating motion graphics or animations using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
    • Experience supporting livestreams, webinars, conferences, hybrid events, or executive presentations.
    • Photography experience.
    • Experience producing corporate communications, internal videos, training content, or marketing videos.
    • Familiarity with social media content creation, video optimization, and digital content strategies.
    • Experience managing video libraries, digital assets, or content management systems.
    • Experience supporting corporate AV environments, conference room technology, or integrated audiovisual systems.
    • Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or similar technologies.
    • Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or similar) is a plus.
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
    • Ability to operate standard office, AV, and video production equipment.
    • Ability to lift and move video production and AV equipment weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.
    • Ability to set up and break down cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and event production materials.
    • Ability to work occasional extended hours or modified schedules to support video shoots, events, or production deadlines.
    • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including office settings, event spaces, and production locations.
