MultiplyMii is in search of a Rockstar eCommerce Supply Chain and Logistics Manager who will be working with our client based in New York. Our client is a small to mid-size retail company and has been in the e-commerce space for 3 years already. Their mission is to bring people together by sharing the joy of their published board games as their main product. In this role, you will be doing supply chain management, local and international logistics, inventory management, and handle the operations side of eCommerce.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in written and verbal form.
This role is 100% remote work.
In this role you will:
Design, manage and implement strategies, plans and procedures to have a seamless supply chain, logistics, e-commerce platform operations
Oversee daily operations of the company, and works with and aligns with the Operations Director, and the department heads of New Products, Marketing and Sales to ensure maximum performance towards hitting the business objectives
Manage global relationships of third party warehouses/vendors and suppliers
Serve as point of contact for clients and external partners, track and trace shipments; identify problems and implement resolutions in a timely fashion
Lead efficiency projects by proposing new mentors, process improvements and softwares to use
Manage integrations involving Supply Chain / Logistics Operations
Advice on and implement appropriate software/systems to automate all repeatable business tasks where possible
Providing direction and communicating needs to Tech partners to build tools
Pilot the global business launches to Europe and Australia among others: manage and source for the best multi-party shipping solutions that combine freight, brokerage, and courier partners
Build cost modeling tools for shipping solutions
Create and maintain up-to-date records of SOPs, product specifications, and inventory
Build a monitoring sheet of inventory and forecasting with the help of a developer / controller
Perform daily analysis on stock levels to highlight current/future inventory problems, and to give inputs on ordering of new products and reordering of existing products; ensures that all product SKUs have the right inventory level
Develop scalable methods to extract and clearly present data from across the various business sectors
Undertake appropriate actions aligned with regulatory bodies eg. certifications to be kept up to date
Assist with trademark registrations, apply for brand registry where applicable, and monitor/report competitor activity
Act as “super user” and custodian of Amazon Seller Central and Shopify; daily monitoring and maintenance of the e-commerce platforms to ensure compliance to rules and regulations
About You:
6+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics and Inventory Management
Hands-on experience for inventory planning, forecasting, and management of multiple supply fulfillment
Understanding of demand and international regulations is a MUST
Knowledge and experience from efficiency-improving activities such as automation of Supply Chain / Logistics / Inventory systems and software
Demonstrable competency in organizational and analytical skills
Knows how to use Google Sheets and MS Excel, including capabilities in standardized reporting, analysis, data queries/manipulation, working with formulas, and so forth
Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to meet deadlines
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Track record of versatility, execution, and effective priority management
Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers, lead conversations/meetings and influence others
Experience in a global supply chain, and forecasting of highly seasonal products an ADVANTAGE
1-2 years experience in eCommerce with knowledge in Amazon Seller Central and Shopify is highly advantageous
Language skills:
Required: high proficiency in English (verbal & written)
Not required, but helpful: Cantonese and Mandarin
