What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of a Supply Chain Optimization Analyst, who will work with our client partner - a tech-forward consumer products company that acquires and grows online brands across the pet, home & kitchen, beauty & personal care, and fitness, sports & outdoor categories. You would be joining a team of seasoned leaders who have over 23 years of Amazon marketplace experience as well as experience in billion-dollar direct to consumer, local & international, retail & omnichannel operations, and brand-building having grown brands from scratch to over $1B.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in written and verbal form.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role you will:
Manage product inventory and optimize for low COGS, 100% in stock rate & positive cash flow
Solve problems that arise with products without needing to involve the CEO.
Track average cost of goods paid per SKU and manage IPI scores
Assist with qualification efforts of multiple sources, including maintaining a depository of specifications, tracking sampling, and approvals
Coordinate with the product management team to obtain feedback regarding the quality of the products the suppliers are creating then relay feedback to suppliers to improve product quality
Provide leadership to realize continuous improvement of supply chain processes with an emphasis on the application of Lean - Six Sigma methodologies
Assess, manage and mitigate supply chain risks
Minimize/Eliminate rogue spending and unnecessary spend with non-preferred suppliers, as well as unnecessary freight and supply chain expenses
Various projects as requested by leadership
About You:
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline is preferred.
5+ years of experience as a procurement, purchasing specialist, buyer, or equivalent.
Financial acumen and experience in cost-reduction initiatives.
Baseline understanding of e-commerce supply chain operations.
Experience working cross-functionally and/or in matrixed organizations.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large data sets and rapid experimentation.
Highly organized with a critical attention to detail and impossibly high standards.
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
Amazon experience is highly preferred but not required.
