    Marketing Specialist / Marketing VA

    What are we looking for:

    We are in search of a Marketing VA Expert - you will be working with our client, a retail, a wholesale and online business that sells ethically sourced wooden educational toys, games, and puzzles from Australia. In this role, you will be focusing on maintaining and managing the website, implementing the social media strategy and growing their following through both organic and paid ads. A digital marketing role for someone who has IT, social media, and basic graphic design skills. Attention to detail is a prerequisite.

    Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in both written and verbal. The ideal candidate should be flexible, passionate and have a keen eye for detail, and be able to deliver effective and inventive copy for the client’s brand.

    This role is 100% work from home.

    Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


    • Work with the marketing specialist to realise the marketing strategy.

    • Maintain and update website content and structure to ensure it’s running on-brand

    • Execute SEO and SEM strategies, including creating graphics and blog posts

    • Implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies

    • Post engaging text, image and video content for all social media and

    professional accounts

    • Identify, reach out to and engage with relevant Australian influencers

    • Manually follow and grow social media accounts (FB, IG, TW) within the

    relevant local markets

    • Create and run digital marketing campaigns (FB, Google, Insta ads)

    • Create and run email marketing campaigns

    • Ensure graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

    • Manage and maintain customer databases (both retail and wholesale)

    • Perform other administrative tasks as requested by Management

     

    About You:

    • Proven experience and success in managing digital marketing campaigns, social media accounts, content creation, communications

    • PPC Experience (Google Adwords, FB Ads, Instagram Ads)

    • Knowledgeable of marketing best practices

    • Computer Savvy can work on various tools and softwares.

    • Ability to think critically and well-versed in quantitative reasoning in numbers and data analysis

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve and to work within deadlines

    • Flexible, adaptable, and open to changing business priorities

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to drive team communication

    • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

    • Able to work independently with strong initiative in a remote work set up

    • High attention to detail and processes, ability to work quickly and accurately

    • Facebook/Instagram/Google ads and PR.

    • Experience with common social media management tools

    • SEO/SEM knowledge with experience in managing Google Adwords

    • Experience managing Wordpress websites and relevant IT skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Some level of design - whether in Adobe InDesign or simply on Canva, this is an important part of the social strategy

    • An added bonus would be any network connections of Australian influencer and media contacts across the gifts, games, and wellness space
