    Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000

    Communities do not build themselves. Roads, drainage systems, stormwater programs, public works infrastructure, and zoning compliance all require steady leadership and sound engineering judgment.

    As a Municipal Project Manager – Civil Engineering, you will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients across Pennsylvania—guiding infrastructure strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading meaningful public works initiatives. This is a senior-level role for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence, client representation, and long-term community stewardship.

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Serve as Township or Borough Engineer, acting as primary or supporting municipal consultant

    • Attend and actively participate in municipal meetings as a client representative

    • Manage and review subdivision and land development plans for ordinance compliance

    • Oversee stormwater management design, grading reviews, detention basin rehabilitation, and infrastructure upgrades

    • Administer MS-4 Programs, including PRPs, on behalf of municipal clients

    • Support Act 167 compliance and watershed-based planning initiatives

    • Guide public works design and infrastructure rehabilitation projects

    • Assist with state and local permitting processes

    • Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations

    • Provide construction administration, including contract oversight, budgeting, coordination, and escrow account management

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania (required)

    • 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience preferred

    • Strong background in municipal engineering and direct client representation

    • Experience with subdivision reviews, zoning, grading, and stormwater management

    • Familiarity with MS-4 program administration and regulatory compliance

    • Experience in public works infrastructure and rehabilitation projects

    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

    • Business development experience and/or established municipal relationships strongly preferred

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
