Responsibilities:
Perform assembly welding of aluminum boat parts for the construction of custom vessels
Assemble boat kit parts using precise geometric measurements developed over 25 years
Utilize C/V MIG techniques to weld structural components and seams
Fit and frame various boat fixtures, including Decks, Lockers, Wheelhouse, Pipework, etc.
Employ C/V MIG and PULSED MIG techniques to weld topside fixtures
Qualifications:
Proficient in basic construction skills
Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to comprehend and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adeptness in working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Completion of vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus
Familiarity with welding techniques and adherence to safety protocols is a plus
Capability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
You should have proficiency in:
Reading and understanding blueprints
Setting up welding equipment for efficient production
