    Title - UNIX Systems Administrator Client - World Bank Location - Washington, DC (Hybrid)

    Job Summary The Track Lead is responsible for overseeing and leading the Unix ,Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL teams. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations, driving project delivery, and ensuring that all tasks related to Unix ,Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL are completed efficiently and effectively. (1.) Key Responsibilities

    1. Lead and manage the unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql teams to meet project objectives and deadlines
    2. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions using unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql
    3. Develop and implement best practices for unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql coding and documentation
    4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql applications
    5. Ensure compliance with security standards and guidelines in unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql development
    6. Mentor team members and provide guidance on unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql technologies
    7. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate unix ,unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql solutions into the overall it infrastructure

    Skill Requirements

    1. Strong proficiency in unix system administration
    2. Proficient in unix shell scripting for automation and process improvement
    3. Solid experience in oracle pl/sql development and performance tuning
    4. Knowledge of relational database concepts and sql queries
    5. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead a technical team
    8. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

    Skill (Primary): : Technical Skills (APPS)-Programming Languages-Unix Shell Scripting

    Essential Job Functions and Skills

    Should have prior working experience in Murex platform such as building Murex environments, applying Patches, Hot Fixes and upgrades

    Should have prior hands-on experience in CI/CD tools and processes to manage and deploy changes to Murex environments

    Prior experience in monitoring system performance, and reliability of the Murex environments

    Should have an excellent hands-on experience in Unix/Linux operating systems

    Strong knowledge in writing SQL, and understanding of relational database system such as Oracle database

    Should have good experience in creating Unix shell scripts, Python, Perl scripts

    Exposure to Unix/Linux tools to trouble shoot issues related to batch jobs, and disk space and memory management

    Hands on experience with application Level 2 and Level 3 support

    Good exposure to release and configuration management processes, familiarity with SVN, JIRA tools

    Good understanding of incident and problem management

    Must possess excellent analytical and debugging skills

    Reviewing application traces and log files to identify and trouble shoot the application related issues

    Work on deployment activities for applying patches and hot fixes to Murex application

    Ability to take a high-level objective and deliver results working with HQ staff with minimal supervision

    Knowledge on Trade life cycle, Fixed income, and derivative products are preferable

    Educational Qualifications and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

    Role Specific Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

    Overall experience: 7+ years
