About Us
For over 70 years, Kincaid’s Music has helped people begin and advance in instrumental music.
We partner with band and orchestra directors to help their students succeed — from first rentals to advanced instruments and repairs.
Our job is simple:
Set up musicians for success.
The Role
This role is often called a road rep.
At Kincaid’s, you’re more than that.
You are a trusted partner to music educators — helping their programs grow, their students succeed, and their lives get easier.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job.
You’ll spend your time in schools, working directly with directors, students, and parents.
What You’ll Do
Visit band and orchestra programs across your territory
Build strong relationships with music educators
Help run instrument fittings and parent/rental nights
Guide students into the right instruments
Support step-up and upgrade conversations
Coordinate repairs and solve problems quickly
Maintain and grow existing school partnerships
Prospect and add new school accounts
When something breaks or goes wrong, you’re the person they call — and you make it right.
