Job Description

Ensemble Schools is looking for a fun, professional part-time staff member to coordinate lessons for our at-home music school Red Pelican in Los Angeles, CA. This staff member will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be available 20 hours per week Monday-Thursday 1:00pm-6:00pm PST.

Primary responsibilities include:

• The main role of this position is to coordinate lessons for students and teachers. Attention to detail, organization, sense of urgency, and exceptional communication skills are required.

• Other tasks like handling social media posts, helping manage daily tasks, being involved in interviews and orientations, recital planning assistance, help with strategy development, and more will also be expected.

• Travel - our team travels ~twice a year to run and attend our student recitals. Additional travel may be required if more events/performance opportunities are planned.

• The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in music and music education would be an asset.
