    Now Hiring: Music Teachers (All Instruments Welcome!) Part-Time and Full-Time (up to 30 Hours) Positions Available Leading Note Studios – Magnolia, TX Weekday & Saturday Shifts | Studio Opening August 2025

    Leading Note Studios, San Diego County’s premier music school, is expanding to Magnolia, TX, and we’re looking for passionate, talented music teachers to join our new team!

    We are hiring part-time and full-time instructors (30 hours/week) who are available to teach Monday through Friday from 1:00–8:00 PM and/or Saturdays from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. You can teach just one day a week or up to five; Saturdays are required.

    🎶 Job Description:

    As a Music Teacher at Leading Note Studios, you’ll play a vital role in each student’s musical journey. You'll be responsible for:

    Teaching instrument techniques, scales, rhythm, note reading, and sight-reading

    Incorporating music theory, metronome practice, and group play

    Preparing students for recitals, auditions, performances, and college applications

    Encouraging goal-setting, creativity, and a lifelong love of music

    Creating a fun, supportive, and structured learning environment

    ✅ Requirements & Qualifications:

    Proficiency on at least one musical instrument

    Love of working with children

    College-level music education

    Clear background check

    Basic understanding of primer-level piano is required for all teachers

    💵 Compensation:

    Hourly Pay Range: $25 – $35, based on experience and instrument specialization

    Job Type: Part-Time (Must be available Saturdays 9:00 AM–2:00 PM)

    Schedule: 6–7 hour shifts; Saturday mornings required

    🏗️ Studio Opening Timeline:

    Our Magnolia location is scheduled to open in August 2025, pending final construction and permitting. We aim to hire and train teachers in advance so we’re ready to go once the doors open!
