    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Musical Instrument Repairperson to join our team! As a Musical Instrument Repair technician, you will be responsible for taking instruments from clients and determining their needs, playing the instrument itself to locate any issues, evaluating the sound, and making recommendations on what the best next step for restoration or repair is. You will also use tools to tune instruments, disassemble and reassemble instruments as needed, and repair or replace instrument parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with instruments, have a musical background, and will have excellent problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    Greet customers and listen to their concerns and needs about their instruments

    Play instruments to help determine the potential issues or defects

    Disassemble instruments, make repairs or replace parts, and reassemble instruments

    Use a variety of tools and software to assist in repairing and tuning instruments

    Qualifications

    Experience with a variety of instruments desired

    Strong communication and customer service skills

    Excellent attention to detail

    The ability to multitask, and take on multiple projects at once
